Comark Digital Services (CDS) operates a full lab for equipment testing / integration at the company’s facility in Southwick, MA.
Who is CDS? Comark originally formed the Comark Digital Services (CDS) division back in 1997 during the transition from analog to DTV. The group’s original mission was to help customers implement turnkey encoding systems, at a time when customers didn’t understand technologies such as MPEG, PSIP, and transport stream management.
Hitachi-Comark re-launched the CDS group in 2018 to assist customers with navigating their migration from ATSC 1.0 to ATSC 3.0. CDS is a team of experienced broadcast professionals that understand the complex worlds of both IT and encoding technologies. CDS has signed agreements with many key technology partners to form an end-to-end ATSC 3.0 ecosystem.
CDS operates a full lab for equipment testing / integration at the company’s facility in Southwick, MA. CDS has already helped numerous customers with ATSC 3.0 roll-outs and thus can provide customers with equipment and integration for ATSC 1.0 and 3.0 solutions including field deployments and customer training.
