[You Know the Tune – Sing Along, Everybody!]
Should the auld standards be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Replaced by new ones, bravely fought,
and auld lang syne…
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne.
We’ll make TV’s future bright this year,
since auld lang syne.
Has One-Point-Oh served us well?
It has, we surely know!
And now it’s time for Three-Point-Oh,
for auld lang syne.
With standards moving really fast,
for new sound and 4K,
Dawn of a whole new TV day,
since auld lang syne.
May mobile TV grow this time,
and hit an all-time high!
And may it thrive as time goes by,
and auld lang syne.
And now that the New Year is here,
we raise our glass to toast
the standards we all need the most,
for auld lang syne.
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne.
We’ll make TV’s future bright this year,
since auld lang syne.
