The ATSC is off to a great start this year with the release of the ATSC 3.0 suite of standards, a major milestone commemorated at CES in Las Vegas. I was proud to represent the ATSC onstage with NAB CEO Gordon Smith and CTA CEO Gary Shapiro. One of the joys of my job is having the honor and privilege representing the ATSC and the hundreds of volunteers developing our standards and driving our programs.

ATSC member organizations represent the broadcast, broadcast equipment, motion picture, consumer electronics, computer, cable, satellite, and semiconductor industries. ATSC also develops digital terrestrial broadcasting implementation strategies and supports educational activities on ATSC standards.
