As we prepare to gather with families and friends for Thanksgiving, we pause to give thanks to the hundreds of members of the extended ATSC family who contribute their time and talents to our work. This month, there are dozens of opportunities for colleagues to Talk Turkey at ATSC technology group, specialist group, ad hoc group, implementation team, planning team and board meetings. The Advanced Television Systems Committee, Inc., is an international, non-profit organization developing voluntary standards and recommended practices for digital terrestrial broadcasting. ATSC member organizations represent the broadcast, broadcast equipment, motion picture, consumer electronics, computer, cable, satellite, and semiconductor industries. ATSC also develops digital terrestrial broadcasting implementation strategies and supports educational activities on ATSC standards.
